Football Pre-Game Review, Brennan Vs Johnson

Coming off a 38-7 win over the Holmes Huskies bringing them to a 7-3 overall record for the 2018-2019 football season, the Brennan Bears will be taking on the Johnson Jaguars tonight at NEISD's Comalander stadium competing for the neutral playoff, Bi-District Football Conference 6A D2 spot on the road to the state championships.

November 10th 2018 - Brennan's Darryon Tolefree gaining short yardage during the Bears game against the Holmes Huskies.

The Johnson Jaguars are in the same position as far as their overall record goes. Johnson suffered a loss at the hands of Madison last week, 28-49.

Brennan's Jordan Flores (Junior, QB #12) will be coming into the game with a season total of 1200+ yards, 14 TD passes, and great completion rate matched up with the Bears' Jordan Smith (Senior, WR, #4) and Darryon Tolefree (Junior, WR, #8) and their combined 1297 receiving yards.

October 18th 2018 - Brennan's QB Jordan Flores looking for an opening in the Bears win against Clark, 42-28.

RBs Amani Arvelo (Senior, #6...whose status is uncertain to me) and Javon Grimes (Senior, #1) would be bringing their combined rushing yards (210 and 327 yards respectively) to the table.

November 3rd, 2018 - Brennan's Jordan Smith heading for the endzone to earn a TD in Brennan's loss to the O'Connor Panthers, 30-23.

The Johnson Jaguars' have had a very strong defense this season but that doesn't mean their offense has been a slouch. As far as offense, they've had roughly 1850 yards and for receiving, it's been around 1100.

Brennan has had 1100 rushing yards and close to 1400 receiving yards going for them, offensively speaking thus far.

The Brennan Bears, who are no strangers to the playoffs, will have a battle against the Jaguars, being they are on pretty equal terms when it comes to wins.

It's gonna be a great game!
