The Bears Stonewall the Rattlers at Farris

Texas High School Football - The Brennan Bears shutout the Reagan Rattlers in a 17-0 contest with a response to last year's loss. The rattler defense did their best to hold off, but the Bears progressed through the game while stonewalling the Rattler offense.

Brennan's Jonathan Swisher scored a 28 yard field goal in the first quarter followed by Keion Thomas' 34 Yard TD and Swisher's extra point in the first half. Bear's QB Jordan Flores had a short 8 yard pass to Gabriel Ramos which led to a TD with another Swisher Field goal putting Brennan down for 17 in the fourth quarter.


Jordan Flores had 159 passing/61 rushing yards along with Darryon Tolefree's 24 rushing/47 receiving yards were notable factors in the win. Reagan's Rhett Buell had 71 passing yards.



The Brennan Bears will see the Warren Warriors next week, 9/6 at 7:30 at Farris Stadium. The Reagan Rattlers will visit with the Steele Knights over at Lehnoff Stadium, 9/6 at 7:30pm.
